DatingCoach AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

  • •Account information: email address, display name, and gender when you create an account.
  • •Profile photos: images you upload for AI analysis. These are stored securely and used solely to generate your analysis report.
  • •Usage data: features you use, credits spent, and analysis history so we can improve the product.
  • •Device information: OS version and app version for debugging and compatibility purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • •To provide AI-powered profile analysis, bio generation, and reply suggestions.
  • •To operate the community peer-review feature, where submitted profiles are shown anonymously to other users.
  • •To process credit purchases and manage your subscription through our payment provider.
  • •To send in-app notifications about completed analyses, earned credits, and product updates.

3. Third-Party Services

  • •Supabase — database and authentication. Your data is stored on encrypted servers.
  • •OpenAI — AI analysis and content generation. Photos and text are sent to OpenAI's API and are subject to their data usage policy.
  • •DigitalOcean Spaces — secure object storage for uploaded profile photos.
  • •RevenueCat — in-app purchase management for credit packages and Premium subscriptions.
  • •Google AdMob — ads shown to free-tier users only. Premium users see no ads.

4. Data Retention

  • •Uploaded photos are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all associated data.
  • •Community review posts are anonymised; no personally identifiable information is attached to a public review post.
  • •Analysis reports and generation history are stored per-account and are not shared with other users.

5. Your Rights

  • •Access: you can view all your data from within the app at any time.
  • •Deletion: contact us to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
  • •Portability: request a copy of your data by emailing us at the address below.
  • •Opt-out: you may opt out of non-essential notifications from the Settings screen.

6. Security

  • •All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Stored photos are encrypted at rest on DigitalOcean Spaces.
  • •We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
  • •Access to production systems is restricted to authorised team members only.

7. Changes to This Policy

  • •We may update this policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and notify users via in-app notification if the changes are material.
